OpenAI-Compatible API Restored and Image Support Added

The OpenAI-Compatible API has been fully restored after new platform safeguards were implemented and tested. Image support is also now available for standard and automated workflows; see the API documentation for instructions.
OpenAI-Compatible API Restoration Update

Resolved August 6, 2026: The OpenAI-Compatible API has been fully restored.
The AI Commons team identified and fixed an issue affecting token usage tracking. Additional safeguards for rate limits, quota enforcement, and billing were also reviewed before restoring the service.
Users are encouraged to select cost-effective models for routine coding and automated tasks and reserve high-tier models for work that requires complex reasoning.
OpenAI-Compatible API Preview Temporarily Disabled

Resolved August 6, 2026: The OpenAI-Compatible API has been fully restored.
The OpenAI-Compatible API preview was temporarily disabled while the AI Commons team investigated a service issue. Access was paused to protect platform stability and provide a reliable experience.
